Welcome to the Super Simple Calendar 2025-2026! These monthly calendars were created with teachers and parents of little ones in mind. They are beautifully designed to add a decorative aspect to your space, as well as offering something fun and educational to do every day from Super Simple – it can be a craft, worksheet, song, video, or activity. We’ve also included some relevant theme days, holidays (US calendar), and international days of interest to help you plan your year. 

Each monthly calendar is available to download for free and includes a QR code to this page, so you can easily be linked to each day’s content. Click on the day of the week on the calendar to go to that piece of content, printable or detailed instructions for the craft or activity. Children are learning new things constantly, and every day they’re attempting many new skills and tasks. Sometimes, we adults forget how hard that can be. Just try learning something new as an adult, right?  It’s not always easy to try new things and learn new skills, is it? It takes energy, and if we struggle with a task we can feel defeated. 

A little love and kindness can turn that experience right around. We have two special songs that offer words of encouragement, “Everything Is Going To Be Alright” and Finny the Shark’s “Keep On Swimming”. 

Some loving words from Caitie might be a great way to celebrate this special day! Caitie’s asking her friends “how do you feel love and how do you show love?” 

Here are some words of encouragement that might come in handy on September 12th, the National Day of Encouragement. 

Everyone has bad days, and it’s okay to feel that way. 
Take some big breaths and exhale out all the icks! 
Everything is going to be alright. 
Let’s go for a walk outside.

Try these ideas in the classroom or at home!

• Use this song for introducing the colors of the rainbow – we sing about the colours in the order they appear in a rainbow, making it easier for students to remember all the rainbow colours.
• Once your students are familiar with the colours, try painting a rainbow. Make sure they use each colour, and in the right order. If they need help, play the song in the background as they work, or play it when everyone is done to check what they have done.
• Use this song as a lead into a fun colour hunt activity. Encourage your students to find something of each colour of the rainbow in the room, or assign one colour to each student. Once all the colourful items have been found, bring them together to create a big rainbow using the items, placing them in the right order from top to bottom.
• Try to recreate a rainbow in the classroom by using a prism to reflect sunlight, or with a handheld mirror in a glass of water positioned with sunlight shining on it. Try a few rainbow-making science experiments with your students and see if you can spot all the colours we sing about in the song.
• This is a great song to use during a unit about the weather! Rainbows are often seen once the clouds part after the rain or a storm, and the sun shines once again. Sing this song to teach that storms always end, and after the rain the sun will come back out and sometimes we might even see a rainbow.

Try these ideas in the classroom or at home!

• Play this song at home or in the classroom to celebrate any time someone has a birthday. If they like, they can choose to stand in the middle of the circle or the front of the classroom as everyone sings and celebrates.
• In the video, we used American Sign Language to sign happy birthday to you. You can try using these gestures or make up your own!
• In our version we sing ‘happy birthday, happy birthday’ instead of mentioning someone’s name so the song could be sung for anyone’s birthday. But when celebrating someone, you might like to use their name!
• Try this to create a fun birthday tradition in your classroom. Every time a student celebrates a birthday, play this song in the morning to let your class know that someone is celebrating a birthday, but don’t tell them who. Then give them a few hints to see if they can guess. Hints can be things like, they are wearing a red shirt today or they like making crafts. Once your class has guessed correctly, play the song again, this time using the student’s name to celebrate their big day.

Try these ideas in the classroom or at home!

• This song is filled with great hand-washing tips. Follow the actions to make sure you get your hands nice and clean!
• The songs covers all the different areas of our hands: our fingertips, the top of our hands, in between our fingers, and our thumbs. Point to those different parts of the hand when singing the song to teach and remind little ones to wash every part of their hands.
• Use this song as a transition in the classroom when it’s time to wash your hands.
• Have your students role play washing their hands while singing the song, following along with the action.
• Have students role-play with a stuffed animal and help the stuffied wash their hands.
• The chorus of this song is strategically timed to be 20 seconds long, the recommended length of time needed to properly clean your hands. You can sing the chorus or play it to know you are washing for the proper amount of time.
• For a fun activity related to hand washing, try making a hand-washing sensory bag with your students. As you listen to the song, point to the different parts of the hand and wipe away the germs, making it all nice and clean. It’s a great way to review those parts of the hand and to help little ones visualize the germs they are washing away when they clean their hands.

Try these ideas in the classroom or at home!

• Sing this song before going to bed or nap time. Encourage your little one to sing the line “goodnight to me”.
• Play this song in the classroom to reset the energy. Encourage your students to take some deep breaths during the instrumental section.
• This song is a great transition song when it’s nap time. Instead of announcing nap time, just press play. After a few times your students will know what to do without you having to say anything.
• The music video for this song features a mama bear and a baby bear as they get ready for sleep and revisit moments from their day, and the song has two voices, one is the mama and the other the baby. Try acting out the song with your own teddy bears, have them say good night to each other, and then put them to bed.

Try these ideas in the classroom or at home!

• This song is great for alphabet review! It’s perfect for students who are familiar with the ABCs and are looking for a fun challenge to show off what they know. See if they can sing along!
• This song is a great tool for teachers to see if students really know their ABCs, or if they have memorized the familiar song.
• For a fun activity, give your students the letters of the alphabet all mixed up, you can write the letters on pieces of paper or use letter flashcards. Have your students go through them and place them in order from A to Z.
• For an extra challenge, play this song in the background and see if they can put them in order before the song is done!
• This is a great dance song! Try using it to play freeze dance! They’ll have a lot of fun, and get some sneaky alphabet review at the same time.

Try these ideas in the classroom or at home!

• Use this song to teach and review the names of the reindeer!
• Host your own reindeer games in the classroom! Each student can pretend to be one of the eight reindeer or make up their own reindeer name. Then everyone can have a friendly competition as you play different party games, and cheer for everyone!
• Bring the song to life with our fun We’re Going To The Reindeer Games play set! You can make the playset as a class and have your students play different reindeer as you act out the song!
• Try making a reindeer games board game with your class. Create a game board from a big piece of paper by making squares that lead to different events in the reindeer games, like archery, tennis, and running. You can use the printable for the playset to make game pieces out of the reindeer. Take turns rolling the dice and counting the squares as you move your reindeer through the games. The first reindeer to reach the end wins! But be sure to keep playing until all the reindeer have made it past the finish line, that way everyone can celebrate at the end together just like in the music video. This is a great activity to do as a group and to get in some fun counting review as you play.
