<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Who doesn’t love a good bubble bath? For little ones, bubbles may be the highlight of bath time, or the reason to get into the bath in the first place! For them, bath time isn’t always about getting clean, but about having fun in the water. And why not? These days, with a great variety of bath toys and bath activity ideas available, bath time can be fun, productive and educational to boot! Win-win-win! So why limit all the fun to when it’s time to get clean? With this colourful foam, you can make a bubble bath sensory experience that is great fun any time. Kids will love to get their hands on the foamy bubbles! Try out some of our suggested activities to add in some practice with colours, too. Fun and educational? That’s another win-win!</span></p>

<p>Crayons are fun all the time! Imagine being able to take them into the bath, how fun would bathtime be!? Parents not to worry! Even though we would love to keep all of our children’s  masterpieces we know that’s just not always possible. This play time will be super easy to clean up: a quick wipe down with a cloth and warm water and it’s gone.</p>
<p>This is a fun project to get the kids involved with parental supervision, please keep in mind that melting the soaps base makes the soap very hot. Kids 5 and under can participate by choosing scent and colours, while kids older than 5 can mix in the colours and scent and help pour in the mold.</p>
<p>Lets get started on the list of materials and ingredients.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-11115" src="http://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_112441-01-1.jpeg" alt="DIY Soap Crayons" width="1200" height="900" srcset="https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_112441-01-1.jpeg 1200w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_112441-01-1-600x450.jpeg 600w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_112441-01-1-150x113.jpeg 150w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_112441-01-1-300x225.jpeg 300w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_112441-01-1-768x576.jpeg 768w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_112441-01-1-1024x768.jpeg 1024w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>

<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-11114" src="http://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181030_123204-01-1.jpeg" alt="DIY Soap Crayons" width="1200" height="1751" srcset="https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181030_123204-01-1.jpeg 1200w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181030_123204-01-1-600x876.jpeg 600w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181030_123204-01-1-103x150.jpeg 103w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181030_123204-01-1-206x300.jpeg 206w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181030_123204-01-1-768x1121.jpeg 768w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181030_123204-01-1-702x1024.jpeg 702w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>
<h4><b>Step One</b></h4>
<p>Use a knife to cut the  Melt and pour into cubes, each cube’s weight is 1oz ,</p>
<p>In a glass microwave safe jar, melt the soap base in 30 seconds spurts, until fully melted. If using multiple colors use one jar per colour and do this one at a time (you can also use a double boiler to melt down the soap base).</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-11116" src="http://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115234-01-1.jpeg" alt="DIY Soap Crayons" width="1200" height="1936" srcset="https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115234-01-1.jpeg 1200w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115234-01-1-600x968.jpeg 600w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115234-01-1-93x150.jpeg 93w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115234-01-1-186x300.jpeg 186w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115234-01-1-768x1239.jpeg 768w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115234-01-1-635x1024.jpeg 635w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>
<h4><b>Step Two</b></h4>
<p>Mix in the colour and the scent to the melted soap base, the soap base will harden as soon as it starts to cool off, you have to move quickly and carefully. Add in the colorant and the scent, the colour must be dark and bold in order for it to draw onto the tub and tiles.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-11117" src="http://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115305-01.jpeg" alt="DIY Soap Crayons" width="1200" height="1600" srcset="https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115305-01.jpeg 1200w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115305-01-600x800.jpeg 600w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115305-01-113x150.jpeg 113w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115305-01-225x300.jpeg 225w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115305-01-768x1024.jpeg 768w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>
<p>Older kids can join in and help mix the colors and the scent.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-11118" src="http://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115326-01.jpeg" alt="DIY Soap Crayons" width="1200" height="1600" srcset="https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115326-01.jpeg 1200w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115326-01-600x800.jpeg 600w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115326-01-113x150.jpeg 113w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115326-01-225x300.jpeg 225w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_115326-01-768x1024.jpeg 768w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>
<h4><b>Step Three</b></h4>
<p>Let the soap base fully cool off and dry before trying to remove the soaps form the mold. To speed up the process you can put the mold in the fridge.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-11119" src="http://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_122029-01.jpeg" alt="DIY Soap Crayons" width="1200" height="1600" srcset="https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_122029-01.jpeg 1200w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_122029-01-600x800.jpeg 600w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_122029-01-113x150.jpeg 113w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_122029-01-225x300.jpeg 225w, https://supersimple.com/wp-content/uploads/20181102_122029-01-768x1024.jpeg 768w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>
<p>Once fully dry, remove from the mold just like you would ice cubes from their mold, and your new bath crayons are ready to use. If packaging these for a later use or for gifting use an airtight container. Melt and pour soap can sweat if left in open humid or hot air.</p>

<ul>
<li>This is a great song to use for classroom management. Play this song whenever it is time to clean up.</li>
<li>After hearing this song a few times, it will act as a musical cue so you’ll just have to play the song to let your students know it is time to clean up. As soon as they hear it, they will start to put their things away.</li>
<li>If your students are familiar enough with the song, encourage them to sing along as they clean so they are practicing their vocabulary too!<br />
Remember that clean up time is a great opportunity for language learning and review. It allows you to use common vocabulary in a natural context, so don’t feel the need to rush through clean up time! As you pick up items to put away, say what they are!</li>
<li>This song is also great to use at home. Play the song in the background whenever you have your littles cleaning up.</li>
<li>You can also sing the song without the music for a quick clean up, and switch out the words during the bridge of the song to suit your needs. For example, we sing, pick up your toys, pick up your books, and pick up your shoes, but you can swap out those words for anything at all. For example, pick up your crayons. Pick up your cup. Pick up your blocks. Put your things away! </li>
<li>For a fun challenge, encourage your students to finish cleaning before the song is over. If you reach the end of the song and they need more time, simply repeat the song so it continues until they are done.</li>
