Calling all toy cars and trucks, we have a job to do! It’s time to get crafty! This is a super simple craft that is sure to please. Be sure to carefully pick and choose what toy cars you use in this craft so no toys are ruined by the paint – some are easier to clean than others. Once the toy cars and trucks are done being crafty, they can go for a ride in the car wash to get clean again! Clean up is part of the fun! Start your engines, here we go!
Here’s what you need to make this craft
- White paper
- Toy cars and trucks
- Paints – different colors
- Paper plates, or something to put the paints on
Squeeze your paints onto the paper plates. Depending on the size of your toy vehicles, you may want to use one color per plate.
Dip your vehicles into the paint and move them back and forth a bit so the wheels get covered all the way around.
Then, drive the toy cars and trucks back and forth on the white paper and see the tracks they make!
Race to fill the page with paint, or head to the finish line once your masterpiece is looking great. Now it’s time for the cars and trucks to head to the soapy car wash for a good scrub!
