This Super Simple App: Privacy Statement (this “Privacy Statement”) is intended to help parents understand the privacy practices of Skyship Entertainment Company (“Skyship”, “we”, “us”, “our”) that are specific to the Super Simple app. For a general description of our privacy practices, please visit our Privacy Policy.
No Collection of Children’s Personal Information
Skyship does not collect personal information from your child when using the Super Simple app. This means we do not collect your child’s name, address, contact information or any information which may be used to identify your child.
Skyship does not record information about your child’s activities on the Super Simple app. We do not track the videos watched by your child, search terms used by your child, or how your child uses the Super Simple app generally.
The Super Simple app does not allow your child to share information with third parties or make it publicly available.
Information We Collect
We may collect statistical or aggregated data which allows us to identify how many times a video, or other piece of content, has been viewed. This information is anonymized and cannot be used to identify a specific person.
Disclosure of Information
Skyship will not disclose any information collected over the Super Simple app to any third-parties except in the following circumstances:
- With parental consent. We may share individual user information with third-parties when we have verifiable parental consent to do so.
- For legal reasons. We may disclose individual user information if required by law or in the event that we need to share information with a third party to protect the safety and security of our users or the safety and security of Skyship and its employees.
- To our services providers. We may share information, including individual user information, to trusted companies and individuals we work with that perform services necessary for the function of the Super Simple app. Such companies and individuals are contractually obligated to keep any information we share with them confidential, to use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them and only as is reasonably necessary to provide the services we have requested.
- Aggregated statistical data: we may share aggregate information which does not identify any users without restriction, including to meet our reporting obligations to our partners.
Parental Controls
The Super Simple app allows parents to customize certain settings, which are saved within the Super Simple app. These settings are not collected by Skyship and are unique to each device the Super Simple app is installed on. Parents my create customized playlists of videos or choose to block automatically created playlists. Parents may also control which videos are available in “off-line” mode and prevent their children from exiting off-line mode. Parents may also set the storage limit for downloadable content and administer their account and subscription settings.
Conflicting Terms
This Privacy Statement is generally consistent with the Skyship Entertainment Company Privacy Policy. Where there are terms that differ, this Privacy Statement overrules the Skyship Entertainment Company Privacy Policy.
