Well, that’s what it’s like to be a chameleon! Chameleons fascinate little learners, so we thought it would be fun to craft some colorful chameleons to help start conversations about nature, science, habitats, reptiles, and colors!

Colorful Chameleon Craft

Paint some colorful stripes down a sheet of bubble wrap, about the size of a piece of construction paper.

Colorful Chameleon Craft

Lay the piece of construction paper on top of your painted bubble wrap. Press down to stamp the paint and gently peel the paper away. Cool, right? Let your paper dry.

When the paper is dry, it’s time to divide it into sections. Make a horizontal fold line in the middle first.

Measure 3“ from the left of the page and make a line with a ruler.

Chameleon! Cut along the folded line and along the line you drew. Fold the bottom section in half and cut again along the folded line.
