
It is common to be afraid that bees might sting you, but honeybees are the friendliest of bees. Try out this great craft to have a whole hive full of the most friendly bees that will never sting, because they are made of pom poms and pipe cleaners! Create a home for your bees with bubble wrap and paint, and you have a crafty honeybee colony! Now, buzz to it!

Materials
- Bubble wrap
- yellow / orange paint
- construction paper: brown, blue, yellow, green
- yellow pom poms
- black pipe cleaner
- scissors
- craft glue
- glue stick
- sponge paint brush
- crayon marker
- small piece of white paper

Step 1: Honeycomb texture
Apply yellow /orange paint onto sponge brush and glide across bubble wrap bubble side up. Turn bubble wrap sheet over and press onto construction paper, peel away and let dry.

Step 2: Branch and leaves
Using a crayon or marker draw a branch onto brown construction paper and cut out. Draw leaf shapes and cut out.
Step 3: Glue
Glue branch and leaves onto blue construction paper or color of your choice.
Step 4: Honeycomb
Draw a honeycomb shape onto the honeycomb textured construction paper. Cut out and glue to connected to the branch.

Step 5: Bee Assembly
Cut black pipe cleaners in half. Wrap half around a yellow pom pom making sure the crossover is at the bottom. Dip a small paintbrush in white glue and dab the backs of the eyeballs add the front of the bee.
Step 6- Bee wings
Fold a small piece of white paper in half and cut a wing shape . Open the wings and dip in white glue add to the bee.
