Caitie wants the whole bed to herself! Follow along with our DIY play set to practice your numbers as you sing along to Six In The Bed featuring Caitie! It might be a silly song, but it’s also great for counting down from six and exploring simple subtraction. Here’s how you can make the Six In The Bed Play Set to follow along at home!
Things You’ll Need
- Six In The Bed Play Set printable
- Scissors
- Stapler
- Cardboard tube – paper towel tube works best!
Steps
Cut out the six strips from the printable.
Staple the ends of each strip together with a stapler to make a loop – you’ll see little lines on the strip that mark where to place the staple.
Carefully slip each loop onto the cardboard tube in order from 1 to 6.
Follow along with the song and “roll” one Caitie out of the bed during each verse revealing an empty spot in the bed. Keep going until there is only one Caitie left!
