Steps
First things first – print out the Toodly Doodly Doo Play Set printable. Using scissors, cut out the pieces from the first page of the printable: the girl character, the tulips, the sunflowers, and their triangle-shaped backings.
Fold along the dashed red line on the backings and glue the flap onto the back of each cut-out, right in the middle. The backings are labeled so it is super easy to know which one goes where. Now our cut-out pieces will stand up on their own!
Place the second page of the printable onto a flat surface. Arrange the flower cut-outs around the printable so it looks like a field, just like the field in the song! Now we are ready to play! Play the song and move the character cut-out through the field. You can make her skip, just like in the song. Move her forward and backward as the song continues!
Once your little ones are familiar with the song and the playset, try using the playset and singing the song on your own! See if your little one can remember all the interesting things the girl sees as she skips through the field. You can also just use the second page of the printable as a great visual resource to help little ones sing along with this cumulative song. It is a fun one to try and master!
